Quick answer: MagLink Pro ($45) is our wired solution, connecting Zeus wheels straight to your PC. It is rock-solid, keeps full SimHub LED control, and works on Alpha, EVO, or third-party bases alike.

Most of the connection talk around Zeus focuses on AirLink, but the accessory we are proudest of is MagLink Pro. It is the part that makes a Zeus wheel feel bulletproof on almost any wheelbase, and at $45, an upgrade we would recommend to nearly everyone running wired.

What's MagLink Pro?

MagLink Pro replaces your wheel's rear plate (USB-C connector) with a magnetic connector, giving you a robust wired connection straight back to your PC. It clicks into place, stays put, and carries both the wheel and (optional) MagicDash 4 over a single link.

Yes, there is a USB-C port on the back of every Zeus wheel as standard, but that is really there for firmware updates, not for a cable you rely on every session. And as any racer will tell you, under maximum force, you want a connection that is solid. That's exactly what  MagLink Pro offers.

It is the first of its kind in the industry to offer power right from the adapter itself. This solves one of the primary issues around modern wheels: power draw.

Why This Is A Big Deal

Wheel-to-base connectivity is one of those things nobody notices until it goes wrong, and across the wider market it goes wrong a lot. Plenty of quick-release and connector systems still wrestle with the same three problems:

      Connection dropouts mid-session

      Limited LED brightness and control

Compatibility headaches when you try to mix brands or move between bases.

MagLink Pro was engineered specifically to put those three problems to bed. It is an industry first in how cleanly it solves all of them at once: a magnetic, rock-solid wired link with no dropouts, full SimHub LED control of the wheel (full brightness and full addressability included), and compatibility that spans Alpha, Alpha EVO, and third-party bases. For a lot of sim racers, that combination simply hasn't existed before at this price.

Who MagLink Pro Is For

You will want MagLink Pro if you are running a Zeus wheel on:

An older Alpha base (Alpha, Alpha Mini, Alpha Ultimate, M10). AirLink doesn't apply to these bases, so opt for the wired path.

A third-party base (Fanatec, Simucube, MOZA and others). MagLink Pro is what makes a Zeus wheel work cleanly on a base we didn't build. For a lot of third-party owners, this makes Zeus easier to integrate than expected.

An Alpha EVO base, if you would rather go wired than wireless. MagLink Pro works regardless of wheelbase, so EVO owners who want full SimHub LED control can choose it over AirLink.

The Bottom Line

MagLink Pro delivers on the core Zeus promise: a wheel that works flawlessly on almost any base, with the fullest software experience the platform offers. If you are running wired, this is the part that makes the whole setup feel solid. At $45, it is an easy yes.
